COVID Protocols

We have set our sights on a healthy future

For everyone’s safety, we are requiring all patients and visitors to wear a mask or face covering to our office. Patients who arrive without a face covering will be asked to immediately put a mask in place or reschedule. We will try to provide patients with face masks if available. Please call our office for more information.

How is your office keeping patients safe?

We are following AHS, the Alberta College of Optometrists and other regulatory agencies’ guidelines daily for the safest patient protocols. We have adjusted many things in the office to help provide the cleanest and safest environment for patients and staff.

Some of those include:

  • Requiring all patients to wear a mask during their visit.

  • Reduced our schedule to limit the number of people in the office.

  • Allowing only one guest for patients with special needs or for pediatric patients. Otherwise, we are requiring patients to enter the office alone.

  • Reconfigured waiting rooms for maximum space between patients.

  • Increased our frequency of medical-grade cleansing of our office furniture and equipment.

  • Offering phone appointments for patients who can’t make it to the office and need emergency guidance.

  • Removed all literature in the office to reduce the spread of any bacteria or virus.

  • 6ft markers throughout the office to promote social distancing.

  • Our staff will be wearing masks and washing/sanitizing hands more frequently.
